I need help with trying to overtake a relatives computer to enable their built wireless cable modem from comcast. I had my relaive to invite me through windows messenger and I accepted but it's taking a while to connect to my relative's computer ( I don't know if this is normal or not) Next I used Remote desktop connection where I enter in my relative's ip addresss but their subnet mask is 255.255.224.0, they're connected strictly to the modem, no router. Any suggestions would help greatly. Plus I can ping their gateway ip address but not their actual ip address. Thanks
