Hi guys,

www.craigslist.org For some reason, I cannot access (or verrryyy slloowwwly) the above-referenced website. I've checked their homepage 'systems check' log and can only find faint references. I can access ANY other website on my premises instantly with either wireless access or DSL hardwired.

Hope this is right section. Would appreciate not only a suggestion but an explanation as I am stumped.

Thanks much, MG

Must be a server or routing problem down your way. I tested here and it opened immediately. Try a trace route to see where the slow response is occurring.

Looks like the hop #13 border router is having some problems. Not much you can do personally, however, since border routers are usually owned and maintained by more than one party. And in any case you can't control how your ISP routes packets. You can contact them and let them know the problem if you ask to speak to a supervisor right away, and they will forward the issue on up the ladder, but there's nothing you can do.

Funny, that hop 13 is going through Seattle WA per a WHOIS search.
Internap Network Services (63.251.63.65)

Craigslist is based out here in San Francisco. (66.150.243.20)

I am wondering if hop 12 is sending it to the wrong place.
