I see no reason why they wouldn't work together. The only possible conflict with wider expansion cards is blocking off on of the other expansion slots. In this case as it is a PCI-Ex16 card, and is in the upermost slot, it won't be a problem at all.

just an observation but I see your going with Ultra Ata 133 type of hard drive
with the pc your building I would recommend Serial Ata 3.0gb/s

You could save $100 by dropping down to a 4400+, or even $200 by going with a 4200+. I don't think you will really notice a difference in performance. At least not that much for how much cash it will save.

You didn't say what you will be using the machine for, but with your choice of video cards I think it is safe to say gaming is high on the agenda. The video card is going to be the most important component for gaming. Games will be more and more taking advantage of dual core CPU's but the video card will still be the most important.

Since you seem to be building a gaming machine I would go with 2GB of ram (2x1GB). 2GB is fast becoming standard for gamers (already is as far as I am concerned :p ). No reason to starve those high end components of data because of the lack of ram. And do get 2x1GB sticks instead of 4x512MB. It may cost a little more but a few months down the road you will glad you did.

I would take an 4200+ and 2GB ram any day over 4600+ and 1GB ram if budget is the concern. ;)

As Wandrille said get a SATA II 3.0G HDD. They cost about the same so no reason to use old IDE technology.
