I am looking for toddler age games available on cd though do not require the cd for operation (should be only needed for installation). I have already posted a want it ad on ebay.
I know of a few Dora the Explorer
Based games ? or activities
That my grand daughter ( 2 ½ ) enjoys
If she isn’t touching the TV screen she wants to point and touch the computer screen
That little mouse /arrow/point Idea is good .
BUT it leans toward messy screens :)
Do a search for Dora the Explorer

My son, when he was 2, LOVED The Telebubbies game. Why the requirement for no CD? I ask because so many games require the CD, but you can get around it by using programs like Farstones Virtual CD player, or their GameDrive, which I have and which works great. Also, Thomas the Tank Engine games are good, too, can work up to those. But great visuals. And don't sweat the dirty monitor, it's part of parenthood. :D :D :D
Post back. I had a thread here some many months ago looking for good kids games, and maybe I can find the link. There were some good suggestions for games for kids of all ages.

Do yourself a favor, and do not allow jelly near the computer. That stuff is really hard to clean after it dries!

Allowing your kids near your computer is great, especially these days where computers are becoming a big part of everyone's life. But you'll also end up with a series of "unexplainable" gunk on your monitor.
Anyways back on topic, check your local Wally World if you have one they usually have a wide selection of child oriented games and programs. Try getting the Dora or other children TV Show based games, I've found it keeps them more interested in it and most of the time teaches them things while they play.
I second th Dora games...they've earned Kid approved in my house.
