Ethernet Card

Hi guys, recently i have bought a buffalo wireless router for my wireless connection between two home PC to share internet connections. One is connected to an adapter, another one is wired by cable. Everything works fine except that that ethernet card from the PC which is connected by cable makes a constant chattering noise. Any idea what is the problem? Is it the ethernet card is faulty?

with ethernet cards at a cost of $5-15 it would be better than losing it - when you know that would only happen when you need it most.

I agree. The chattering noise may be nothing to worry about. I would buy a spare card at $10 and keep it on standby in case you need it. In the event you do need it, you can always change it out within 5 minutes or so and be back up and running.
