What's the big deal with Enermax PSs?

I was cehcking out AMD's site for some power supply information and I noticed that there weren't any Enermax PSs recommended by AMD listed for anything greater than the Athlon 600MHz. What gives? Enermax not paying their 'juice money'?

Hmmm... The only thing I've heard about the Enermax PSs was that they were quieter than the average PS. Why are they more expensive than the average aftermarket PS? Anyone? Anyone?

The fact that AMD doesnt recommend a Mobo, ps or anything else for that matter, doesnt really mean too much if the company in question builds good stuff. They probably didnt pay the "juice money" as you suggested http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
