video card

hi
i had a laptop kds valiant working on winme then iwant to upgrade it to winxp
and when i started it the screen goes black but it gives a sound that windows s working i don't know what it the problem...but i guess that may the winxp didn't recognize my video card
i only have the winme driver...so i search for the xp driver but i couldn't find it
my video card is
"trident cyberblae ai1 agp"
i hope if any one could help me finding hte driver or tell me what is the problem??

Well when you installed XP it should have found your card since it installed with the Card in it did you put windows ME back on when XP didnt work?
