I am trying to help out some of my customers, with sites to help them improve their basic computer skills.
They all have been given the link to the PC Guide as a starter.
More help and links are needed.
I am sure some of you will use this list for your customers also, so lets have those links. Many thanks Andy.

A few years ago, when I was first getting into learning about computers, I asked one of my friends to help me. "Can you teach me about computers?," I asked him. He told me "Go home and open 'Windows Explorer'. When you understand it, you can ask me questions."
Best thing he ever did for me. If you really want to improve your customers' basic skills, print out an instructional page on right-clicking options and keyboard short-cuts. No matter how much my mom surfs and plays The Sims, she is always awed by right-clicking and keyboard short-cuts. Just don't show them about Windows Explorer or you'll have a lot of support to offer them http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif!
Rule #1 about computers: NEVER delete any root directories titled "WINDOWS"!!

Most of what I have is for 98.
Very fundamental stuff here Windows Basics (http://www.west-bend.k12.wi.us/training/windows/index.htm)
Windows help net (http://www.windows-help.net/windows98/all-tips.shtml). Beware..annoying popups at that site.
Windows 9x, ME (http://windows.about.com/cs/win9xme/index.htm). Ditto there on popups.
IE 5 Companion (http://www.netmag.co.uk/ie5/noscript.htm)

Check my site, plenty links there, and mjc's site should have some useful ones too.
