i want to unplug my dvddriver and cd rom driver

i must open my case my cd rom is up in the tower
and dvd sec position(, and i dont know how to open the case)
i see from from back the case

but i dont know which cables i have to set off
there is one ribbon but i dont know how it looks like
and there are 2 another cables;; i dont know
can you tell analuze step by step what i have to do;;
and give if you can ofcourse one screen how is inside the cpu
whick cables i have to set off ( to see them) please;;
so not to make mistake
it is my first time that i will; do unplug please;;

First it would help if we had some system specs. What brand computer do you have? What brand case is it? Can you post a picture (front and back)?
Make sure the computer is unplugged before removing anything! Most cases have a few screws that hold the outer shell to the frame. If you undo these screws, the shell should slide up or back to come off the framework. Some cases (like HP and Dell) have some latches that need to slide apart. Once the case is open, you will see the ribbon cables and power cables connected to the drives along with the screws that hold the drives to the frame.

Is there a lable on the front of the case? Do you have a digital camera? If not, do you know someone who does? If you can take a picture, when you post a reply there is an area below that you can upload a picture.
