Fancy posting some photos of your nice high-end systems? I've got some new equipment arriving today, so after I set it all up I'll post some photos. Might not be until Sunday though, but we'll see.

How big can the pics be to post them? I can't edit them on a computer with the internet, so I need to know ahead of time.

Dunno, but you could resize them using GIMP 2.0 if you really had to. It's a free download and it is almost as good as CorelDraw or Photoshop. I'll have mine posted within the next hour or so.

EDIT: I am struggling to meet the 19kb file size. My pictures come out looking like blobs of goo. Must have a rethink on photo quality.

Open a free account for yourself at http://www.photobucket.com/ and upload your photo's to there. I make my images 900 pixels wide [in an image editor] before uploading.
Then copy & paste the "IMG" URL [lower image below] at the bottom of the other text in a thread like this so the image can be seen here [upper image below].
n.b. If you ever remove the image from the site it can no longer be seen in the posting.

I have just signed up for PhotoBucket and uploaded a trial photo. Two minutes to sign-up and less than that to upload the (hopefully) attached photo. Not of my system but more the troublesome aspects of my life.

EDIT
OOPS! Made the photo to big and it filled the complete width of the desktop :o
I will have to experiment with sizes before doing any more uploads.

Edit 2
Just uploaded smaller photo.

I usually use MS Photo Editor "Image->Autobalance...", then "Image->balance..." to adjust the brightness of the image.
That usually automatically reduces the size of the file from perhaps 4 MB to 500 kB.
My files range in size from 2 kB to 2,600 kB with the mid-range aboout 400 kB.
Reducing the pixel width to 900 reduces the file size.

I never do anything else to reduce my file sizes.

Now that is what I call bling! Nice! I didn't realise that CPU cooler was so big though. Is that ASUS dvd-writer one of the quiet ones? What temp does your o'clocked RAM get up to?

Ok, testing - sorry 'bout the lack of bling:

A look inside - messy cables due to daft "eternity" cables:

Silent heat-pipe cooler (God-send) for CPU:

The gfx card cooled with the vf700-cu and akasa exhaust blower:

Hey madad, your images need to be reduced in width to 900 pixels or less.

And they look better brightened up.
I saved one to my HDD and brightened it and reduced it to 900 pixels; it was easy to do. :)

sweet computers...'specially the one in the box! That's the $*&T right there if you ask me. Madad, I noticed you also have the VF700 - Good cooler, but my core can't appreciate it. it's only good for 10mhz above normal speed. The RAM, on the other hand...120MHz, EZ. I was gonna put an exhaust blower in, but the HSF blows the other way so it would create somewhat of a vacuum, methinks. Prove me wrong and make me spend more money plz :D

I like that fan controller. I was gonna get something like it, but I have heard stories of knobs keeping the Tsunami's door open... not something I am prepared to deal with. I love the idea of a silent PC (I like that silent CPU heatsink) but it's not much of an option with a 4400+ running like an FX-60 :D

The Asus combo drive is one of the silent ones, and it lives up to that unless it's running at full speed. Yeah, the Zalman is a monster of a heatsink, and it really isn't that much louder on high than low. So, no more fan-mate, I just put it straight into the mobo. My temps believe it or not, get to 52*C running double Prime95. Idle is at 27, though. Since 50 is a little high, I'm gonna reapply Arctic Ceramique (or maybe silver) when I get it home in 6 weeks. I'll probably do the same with the Asus Heatpipe NB cooler (absolutely amazing, never buying a mobo with active cooling again). I am somewhat confused with my PSU, though. It says, "Server-Class Power", but what it really means is, "server-legnth cables". The cables would still be long on a Xaser!

Keep the pics coming, guys!

When I ordered the parts, they responded that they would be sending me a box. I figured since I was spending so much money that they should comp me a box. I forgot to ask if it was a mid-tower or not, or I would have upgraded. I don't especially like the desktop box they sent, but with some neon I think it will really come alive...;)

I'd post one...but bailing twine, duct tape and primer red just don't do too well on the 'Net...

Guys, keep the pictures coming! I really like madad's rig, but can we see I an not a nerd's?

I love the fact that I have 2 completely open floppy bays (airflow through the open bays is like a freakin' hoover), but I really need to mount that light controller! It keeps going faulty on me though, it won't always work on sound control unless I bang it a bit :( but oh well.
