I wanted to know where I might find some old computers to buy, so I can practice upgrading and repairing desktop PC's?
Where could I get some old business PC's or personal ones?
Do I run an ad in the paper or are there really good places to go to find these old PC's at really cheap prices?

Resale shops like Goodwill, St. Vincent de Paul. Garage sales. If you run an ad, my guess is you'll get replies from people with a Commodore, Atari or even better, a Timex Sinclair or a TI-99. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif Good Luck! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif

Thanks you the info. I wish I could get hooked up like those companies that sell the return lease PC's on Ebay. I bet there is some money to be made in that.

Thanks again.

I'm sure, but it does take some front money, warehouse space, etc. And sometimes the sellers may insist that you buy in lots or skid loads, taking the good with the bad. Some of the stuff they get that way might just go directly to a recycler. "Ya rolls da dice, ya takes ya chances."
