Hi,

I have a question on Active Directory (AD) on Windows 2003 Server.

If I run 2 or more offices, each running its own LAN on Windows 2003 Server, is it possible that I link the individual Active Directories to each other?
Purpose is so that the ADs of each LAN is in sync with the others, such that if a user account is created/updated in AD 1 (in Office 1), the same user account is created/updated in AD 2 (Office 2) and AD 3 (Office 3).

I hope I didn't make a mess of my question.

Any input is indeed valued, many thanks.

Yes, create a new site in AD sites and services for each site and there you will setup the syncronization for IP. You can also add subnets in sites and services so when a user at site A goes to authenticate it will see his subnet and authenticate him/her to the local server and if it goes down they can authenticate to a remote server. This is of course the servers are in the same domain, usualy all the servers are in one domain if its one company and each site would have its own OU. if they are in different domains you will need to create trust relationships.
