these two cards are both at the limits of my buget and im bot sure which to go with, so could you guys point me in the right direction

i had a question about somthing i saw an ati readon x1300 for less then the x700 is the x700 better then the 1300?

The 6800GS is definatly better than the x700Pro.

The x700pro is better in some ways than the x1300 in that it can push more raw power, but the x1300 can do SM3.0 which enables more effects in video games.
(The 6800GS can do SM3.0 as well)

if you are going with a 6800GS, then you need to make sure that your PSU is good enough to handle it. What is your PSU's rating? Both the overal wattage and the individual rails.
