I'd go for 2GB of the cheap corsair value select RAM. Faster RAM only offers about 2-5% performance increase, unless you are overclocking which gives more but is a bit risky.

For the power supply, there is a hardware sticky above which has a few good ones (the Antec seems good performance/price combo). I recently bought an Enermax liberty and it is silent.
