I just got this. The browser you are running is not supported for the feature you were trying to access. If you were provided a link to this feature from another site, you can access the Microsoft Online Support Directory at http://support.microsoft.com/directory/. You can download the latest version of Internet Explorer at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.htm.
I'm running IE5.5sp2; guess they want me to upgrade!! Some chance!! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I have been trying to use it for the past 5 days and keep getting error message about not being able to find my computer, and asking for IP address. Do you have to be on-line to use it? (I have Fat32)

Ernie- yes, you need to be online.
You can check your computer or anyone elses, that's the interesting implication I found on it.

you need the/your IP or computer name to scan it.

Hey, that's pretty devious http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif
And even though it's free, it probably tells M$ what mp3s you listen to and steals your pets...

NO! I do not thing ZA would stop it. For it to work you will have to give it permission to access the net and therebye give MS permission to have a look inside your computer (?) Or am I just being paranoid about MS? It stands to reason that they are looking for a way to by-pass firewalls (as are others)
I have nothing to hide but I for one will not be using the security advisor until I know exactly what information it sends to MS.
I was reading today about Apple possibly releasing a version of thier OS for PC's where you purchase the licence. (Due primarily to MS trying to push this rented software and OS's) If this is released I will seriously consider going over to it.
