I have a Sotec laptop, model 3120X, that is having fan problems. The laptop's hard drive manages to overheat its self and then the laptop shuts itself off as a safety measure. I believe that the fan just isn't running properly and therefore not cooling the system.
Any suggestions of what to try to fix it? I'm pretty good with computers, having built every desktop tower in my house, but I'm not as adept with laptops and my father (who used to help me) passed away last year. Any help would be great. Thanks!
