My main computer is a HP Media Center PC running XP, my other one is an hp pavillion running ME. I have the Linksys wireless-G broadband router and the wireless-G usb network adapter with Wi-Fi finder.

I set it all up and the other computer can sometimes find the access point but i can not get onto the internet.

I ran the network set up wizard on XP, now here come the sticky part, it says on there to make a copy of the network wizard to run in the other machine. well the XP has the 2.0 usb port and i see a 1394 port? have no idea what that is. but the thing is i have no floppy drive in the XP didn't realize that when i got it, just assumed... I now know not to assume. now the other ME computer doesn't have the 2.0 USB port just a CD-rom and a floppy. So I have a feeling that is where the problem may be. If so how would one fix this situation?

I would appreciate any help anyone could give me!
Thank you so much

If the XP machine has a CD burner, you can put the file on a rewritable disc and treat it as if it were a floppy...

Also most USB 2.0 pendrives are backwards compatible with USB 1.1, they are just limited to the slower speed of USB1.1 when using it.
