Selling Domains

I have a domain that I would like to sell. Is there a somekind of official procedure that I should go through, or just simply tell the buyer all the info how to access the domain

Sounds like you are hoping to sell a hosting package. The domain may be integrated in the package or not but selling/renewing domain names is different from the hosting packages on which they run. Domains can be moved from webhost to webhost but a domain name will have a registered owner and that doesnt automatically change with the change of a web host.

PS. No I don't want to sell any hosting packages or move the domain.

To make the story short, I heard of some plans and quickly bought a domain. Now I am planing to sell it to the guy who originaly was planning to get it.
