HP Pavilion zv5000 Hard drive ?

Hello I have a question I hope someone can help out with. I had the HP Pavilion zv5000 and last night it finally died on me. I pulled it apart and salvaged all the parts from it but would like to copy the drive to another drive. It is a Toshiba drive and I would like to upload the info into my desktop until my new laptop makes it here.

So I guess my question would be is it possible to upload the info from this drive into a desktop drive and if so what procedure should I follow? Also is there any sites where I can get the necessary cable to attach the drive to my desktop? Thanks for any help avaialble.

What I would do is get a 2.5" drive enclosure and use it as an external drive when you are done. If you get another notebook, it will fit neatly in your case.
