I'm looking for a control center switch that will allow me to control 2 or more systems from one keyboard, monitor and mouse.

I have one of the Very Old mechanical switches But it only allow 2 systems and one monitor.
With no prevision for keyboard or mouse.

I have seen a review many months ago on Pcmag for the units. But I can't find it again.

What I really want is a solid state unit that will not Burn out my monitor ( Old Unit did )

Anyone using one or can someone recommend one ?
It will be used to control a server , Win Machine, and Linux Box

The largest problem I have is the Video card in each system is different.
Matrox G400 in one, Standard PCI in server and VooDoo 5 in Linux Box
Also using different Video settings for each.
The shock to the Monitor from changing display settings is my largest concern .

What you're looking for is called a KVM switch -- Keyboard, Video, Mouse.

Available here (http://www.cyberguys.com) and most hardware accessory vendors. Belkin makes many types. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif

Thank you.
The Mind is the first thing to go.
Now where did I leave mine?

I did find the KVM that I was looking for at last.

Thanks again.
