Currently have an AGP card and MoBo

Making the move to PCI-E (finally)

I am looking for the best non-SLI mobo out there.

Thinking about:
ASUS A8N-E ATX AMD Motherboard (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16813131530)

Any suggestions?

Also, while I have you here. I need a vote for which video card to pick up
nVidia 6800 GS
or
nVidia 7600 GT

thanks

Don't know about the mobo but definitely the 7600GT hands down. It's newer, runs cooler and just plain better.http://www.pcguide.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

That's a good mobo, but if you're thinking of migrating from AGP, that's essentially a core upgrade, correct? As in, do you already have a Socket 939 CPU? If you do, that's a great mobo, as well as a few others like Abit's AN8 series.

But if you don't have an investment in 939 yet, don't bother! AMD's new Socket AM2 is coming within the next couple of months, along with DDR2 support. So if this is going to be a complete core upgrade, I would suggest waiting for the new stuff.
