Yesterday, I installed a registry cleaner which corrupted my registry and now I cannot log into Windows or go into my hard drive. It will not boot from Safe Mode or CD Rom. Can anyone help me fixing my registry? Please.  :( :D

Which Windows are you running?

If Win98...
At startup, go to the the Startup menu, choose "Command Prompt" and enter...
C:\>scanreg /restore
Then choose the backup automatically made on [or before] the 1st successful boot on the day the problem was introduced.

If WinXP...
Go to "Last good backup" or whatever it is its name.

Once your system is once again working well...
Begin using a system of image backup that can make and restore backups [from outside the Windows environment] using a program that loads from a bootable floppy or CD [like "Image" on the EBCD below].
Then, even when Windows won't boot...
To recover from ANY software problem whatever...
Just restore a good recent backup to recover a working system of software.

By-the way...
Did you use this registry cleaner within Windows?
If you had used one that loaded from a bootable CD [like "Registry Tool" for Win98/ME on the EBCD below], then you could and should make a backup of the registry before making any changes, and it would be yet another simple method for restoring your registry to its former state .

This makes it easier to boot a chosen drive [particularly the one holding the EBCD].

This has a number of useful utilities included including "Image" [for DOS, by Terabyte], "File Manager" & "Registry Tool".
