View Full Version : Blue Screen - Stops for ATI2DVAG.DLL

win/xP/pro-attempting to upgrade to sp2, upon reboot received a STOP b/c ATI2DVAG.DLL.

Cannot do restore nor uninstall sp2. Any ideas on how to take care of the ATI2DVAG.DLL problem?

Update your video drivers...

If I update them in 98se, will that also update them in win/xp?

No...the two keep driver files separate.

win/xP/pro-attempting to upgrade to sp2, upon reboot received a STOP b/c ATI2DVAG.DLL.
I have a pentium processor which requires a BIOS update to support SP2. (see microsoft article 885626). I could not do an add/remove of SP2 because I had a hot fix which could not be removed. I finally did a windows repair using original xp/pro SP1 CD which took me back to SP1. Everything works fine now.
