Toshiba M1502 VS. Pioneer 116

Which is better and why?

Or another better then both?

Don't want to turn this into a war just would like some "constructive" opinions............

Thanks!

Links would help, but if one is slot-load, I'd go with that over a tray.

Look for the best DAE rate if drive will also be your source for rips.

yeah thanks tj,

Ive seen all the specs, I was basically trying to see who had anything bad to say about either one, if ya know what Im saying...........

Alot of people claim the pioneer is the one to have, but the Toshiba is gaining support. The older model pioneer 115 was suposedly too loud, the 116 is said to be quieter.....

Those drives are pretty much fighting for the same market......

Just looking for personal opinions........

P.S. I know the pioneer comes in both slot and tray just fyi since you brought it up.....not sure about the Toshiba though.......

I read some people say they thought the tray was a better way to go though.......I dont really know much about tray/slot whats better?

Why you think slot? Just curious......

Thanks!

You asked for another also.
I recently installed an Acer DVD and RW (seperates) and am very happy with both. Pretty quiet and fast. Sorry, don't have model # in front of me now but can post them later if you are interested.
Let me know
