Does anyone have any information on installation of MS Exchange Server 2003 in conjunction with Server 2003 Software?
Ok, here are some specs. and documenation of what was done thus far.
Obviously, we're running a Windows Network.
The Main Domain Controller holds the DHCP Server and Active Directory (site.com). Now, I've created a Child Domain Controller which is acting as both the Web Server and E-mail Server (child.site.com). "Child" and "Site" are generic domain names in this case.
I've run adprep /forestPrep on the Parent (root) Domain Controller (site.com).
Then, I've run adprep /domainPrep on both the root (site.com) and child Domain Controller (child.site.com; where Exchange is going). When I go to Active Directory Sites and Services I do see that the replication has taken place to the child domain. On the child domain, Active Directory has replicated.
However, I'm getting an installation error regarding adprep /forestPrep and adprep /domainPrep. Am I missing something in the setup of Exchange? Thank you for any helpful hints. :)
