No sound coming out

About a week ago, I had sound but now there is no sound coming out of my brand new speakers. I have checked the volume level and it is high. I have checked my BIOS setup and SOUND is on. Please assist me to figure out why I do not have sound on my computer? I have a poweredge 400SC

Have you tried a headset to see if sound is being produced?

Yes I have tried a headset and no sound.

Hehe...I used to look at the troubleshooting routines for electronics and chuckle when reading the standard number one procedure...Is it plugged in? :) Well...enough said! Glad you found the problem...;)
