What are all these people trying to accomplish?
I have been scanned about 7 times now.Am i in any danger from this?
And is there anyway i can stop it as its driving me crazy now.

Just make sure you are surfing in stealth mode. How do you know you're being scanned by the way?
Go to this site and scroll down and try the Shield's Up utility by Steve Gibson.
http://www.grc.com/default.htm
After agreeing to the terms, try the Common Ports scan.
Report the results.

I know im being scanned because it come up in the logs from my firewall.
And as far as i know its only Zonealarm that has stealth mode and i dont run that as its just a bloated mess.
Is that scan safe?Sorry if i seem a bit skeptical but i dont exactly want anymore scans done on me and an online scan seems a bit shady is there any programs i can download or do they have to be done online?
I suppose it would have to be online or atleast done from another computer.

Shield's Up is a good way of checking what ports on your pc are open to anyone on the net, run it and it will tell you what is and isnt open and what if anything you need to sort it.
If you need more advice after the scan post back. :)

No problem. It's actually always a good practice to be skeptical until you know for sure that a program is safe. I can only tell you that Steve Gibson is a very trusted name in the computer security industry and experts have been recommending his scans for years. Also I have personally used it probably on 40 different occasions (usually to check a new configuration to make sure I have closed all my doors).
You can proceed with the scan if you desire...it's safe.

Ok im happy with the results i got from Fastlearners scan site. This is what i got.
"Your system has achieved a perfect "TruStealth" rating. Not a single packet — solicited or otherwise — was received from your system as a result of our security probing tests. Your system ignored and refused to reply to repeated Pings (ICMP Echo Requests). From the standpoint of the passing probes of any hacker, this machine does not exist on the Internet. Some questionable personal security systems expose their users by attempting to "counter-probe the prober", thus revealing themselves. But your system wisely remained silent in every way. Very nice."
So they didnt even get a computer from their scan then did they?
One thing though those scans didnt come up in my firewalls logs.
Would that mean that the scans executed by those sites and remote computers got further than the online scan i just did?
I have recieved 6 extra scans since i last reported about being scanned and they all were in the logs before i did the online scan so it wasnt that.
And they were all from single IP addresses not even sites so what should i do?
