Problems with CMOS resolved [http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?t=46373 ]

While scanning for virus with AVG free edition, I found the following viruses
spoolm.exe trojan horse irc/backdoor.sdbot.vzq in local settings\temp
chksum.exe trojan horse generic.pyh in c:\windows
While the specific file was seemingly deleted and further scan didnt detect any virus.

One question I would like to ask, could it have caused my PC from starting? that is not able to get into BIOS setup also?

Looks like to get the attention of the right people you need to title your thread something like "PC infected?".

As usual, trojan horse will infect your system 32. The files and folders inside of system 32 suppose are highly protected. Even anti-virus also unable to delete the files inside of it. If it can delete the virus, your computer supposes doesn't have any problem already. Trojan horse won't affect your BIOS system, supposingly ^.^"
