View Full Version : Which Motherboard for Duron 900?
I am building a new computer based on a Duron 900. I am
going with on-board sound and video to reduce costs (less
than $100 for the motherboard). One of the few mother-
boards that I was able to find is the ECS K7VMA ($77)
from cpusolutions.com
Any comments appreciated

Triple post -- See How Do I

Hello tjaymadison,
Sorry if my post left you confused. I may have left a
couple words out, but you could be just a little nicer or
more helpful in your reply. Especially since no one else
has offered any help so far.

All that tjay meant to say is that you posted your question in more than one topic, evidently for a total of three times -- triple post and that your answers would be found in "How Do I" -- which you have already read and responded to. This board is really just a single forum with many categories...those of us who have been here a while don't, as a rule, answer multiple posts of the same question in more than one of those categories. Basically the same people answer all the questions posted so more/better help/advice won't be found by posting more than once.

It was a double post (not triple). In the second message
I added on something I left out if the first. Then when
no one replied that evening I decided to try another
category. Maybe next time I will wait a little longer.
No biggie, if you see a double post just don't read it!

And how do we know if it's a double post unless we READ IT?
tjay's post was intended to inform the rest of the participants that this is a multiple post, and where to look to find the other one(s). The topic in How DO I has been closed, since this is a more appropriate place for it. The third one was deleted since no replies had been made, before I realized it contained additional info. That's one of the best reasons for keeping your questions in one topic. You'll need to repost that info here, I can't bring it back.

So many idiots, and only six bullets...
Note: Please post your questions on the forums, not in my email.
