I have never seen this before, but when looking at the upper right area of ZA, I have two icons in the programs area that are CLI applications that are listening to two TCP ports.
Is this a problem?
Thanks.

If you have the 6.0xx version of ZoneAlarm you are not alone in having problems. This version is causing many people issues and some have reloaded ZA 4 because of it. Some have suggested to boot up in safe mode and find out where your corrupted files are. I am going to dump ZA because of its bloated propensity to interfer with internet surfing, downloads, freezing screens, ghost positives, and even interferring with Office applications.

I love their firewall but they bundle so much with this program that it boggs things down, eats memory, and gaming is impossible unless you shut it down.

I'd prefer in that case to dump Zone Alarm. Any recommendations?

I am seriously looking into Grisoft's AVG anti-virus with firewall combination. I have heard great things about their anti-virus from experienced people. I have sent them an email about where I can read more about their firewall and am waiting for a reply.

What I really like about their products is that they are considerably less demanding than ZA, McAfee, and Norton memory wise. Plus they update constantly, sometimes daily.
