I am trying to run a personal FTP server from my home computer. I think that i set up filezilla correctly, but it dosn't work.
I can connect to it when i use the computer it is running on and do 127.0.0.1 but when i try to put in my real external IP, it gives me this error
Status: Waiting to retry... (5 retries left)
Status: Connecting to ********* ...
Status: Connected with ********. Waiting for welcome message...
Then it just sits there and eventully fails and tries again. I am behind a router and have forwarded port 21. What else do i need to do?
