Word error

I have been asked to find a solution for this. When MS word ( I think it is office 2000) throws up this error (see attachement) when word is opened. Anyone any idea as to the possible cause. I have been told no changes to OS (nothing added or removed). started happening about two days ago

Every thing OK now. I tracked the problem down to his having disable DCOM service in Win XP (services.msc) Restarted DCOM for him and the error disappeared
