num lock issue

Standard ps2 keyboard, with num lock engaged, the "-" key acts like the TAB key. How do I stop it?

Have you tried using a different keyboard on that computer, and using the keyboard with the problem on a different machine? Keyboard could be going, or the keyboard controller.

Check your motherboard for leaking or ruptured capacitors (http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?t=25482) (they have been known to affect the keyboard controller)
