we have cable internet service with a vendor supplied modem. We then got VOI with a vendor supplied router(Vontage)I now want to use my laptop with a wireless card at home. I bought a Belkin wireless G Router for the home network. My problem is this, if I install the wireless router per the instruction(between cable modem and existing PC) I lose VOI phone where that router is installed. The only way I can get phone service and internet access to the PC to work is the link modem,VOI(with wireless running off ethernet port on VIO router)then ethernet to PC. The laptop gets internet service on wireless,but it is unstable and the laptop and PC can see each other(no network)Am i tring to do too much, or do I need to change a setting on one of the routers?

Actually, you can kill two birds with one stone...trade up the Vonage box. There is a Linksys wireless Vonage box.

The 'quick' specs...

* Great for All Your Routing Needs and Creating a Wireless Home Network
* Enabled for 2 Vonage Lines and 4 Wired Ethernet Ports as well as Wireless Access
* Supports All Vonage Features

Is there a way without more equipment? Do I need to change the IP for the wireless router?

The link I listed would replace both your current Vonage box and the new wireless router...

But, the way I remember the Vonage setup going is that if you have a current router just take a patch from it to the Vonage box (use the port labeled modem on the Vonage box)...

Quick Setup for the PAP2 (if that isn't your Vonage box, then the previous link lists the boxes)
