Please recheck CPU soft menu. However, itsays to hit F1 to continued and that works . How do I solve the CPU problem ? Thank you

Change your CMOS battery, then enter the BIOS setup, save and exit.

The clip holding the battery broke. What do I do now? Can a computer run without having a battery?
Thank You

Well, a computer can work without a CMOS battery, but you'll get that "press F1" error everytime you restart your computer. Kind of annoying and your BIOS settings will never be saved.
If you want to fix it, you might be able to do it permamently with a soldering iron, or fix it for now with some electrical tape. I guess I would use electrical tape myself. I mean, really, how often do you need to change the CMOS battery?
Duct tape...come on, Saph...duct tape. (the non-metallic kind)

Hahahaa! I was thinking about duct tape, but... I don't know. I get kind of obsessive with duct tape. A little bit just never seems to do it! :D It must be a whole lot of it! :p
