My laptop (HP dv5040) intermittently gives the above BIOS Beep Code. The entry point for the error is 28h and the description "Autosize DRAM". Is it likely a 'flaky' memory chip? or maybe the motherboard? Can this error be generated by software? Just new to the forum and any help appreciated...
