Dumb Question Acer Travelmate 4020 power

I've got a slight problem with my notebook. I can't seem to remove the ac power adapter from my computer. Is there some sort of lock? That's what it feels like. I'd read the documentation that came with the computer, but it's all in Czech. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
