Need help on internet speed

Hey I havent posted here before but I was wondering if anyone could help me.

I have been experiencing some slow internet speeds. I have tried searching for spyware ect useing spybot and adaware and they have come back with nothing. Now I have hijack this butI have no idea how to use it :(

Could anyone suggest a path of action to get my internet back to normal

You should make a new folder on the HDD root. (Right click the start button and Explore to open the Windows Explorer, then File>New>Folder. Name it HJT. Close Windows Explorer.)
Unzip the HJT you downloaded into the new folder you just created.
Make certain no files are hidden on the PC.

Now click the exe file for HJT and scan the PC and create a log, (Notepad will do fine). Copy and Paste the entire log here in the Applications and Security forum with a reason why you are posting it. Break it into sections to get it all here, use multiple reply posts if needed. Wait for advice from the experts before trying to fix anything as most items in the log are necessary for proper operation of the PC.

After the computer is clean, there are other reasons why your connection may be slow and we can deal with that once we know it is not malware causing some of the issues.

What type of connection are you using? DSL/Cable? What speed of internet service are you buying? Who is the ISP?
