Quality Of Service

I have ADSL2+ modem/router 9108.I see that i can change the Quality Of Service between CBR,ABR,rt and nrt-VBR and UBR.Currently i have UBR(Unspecified Bit Rate).What will be the practical implications in the downloading of files from the Internet if i change QoS.
My ISP uses PPPoA.

should have no effect or a bad effect to all traffic as those settings are for ATM VCC's/PVC's/SVC's. (needs set on both side) google ATM LANE (LANE emulates ethernet or tokenring over ATM networks)
