any suggestions regaurding my upgrade problem

I have a intel n440bx serverboard with dual processor capability, when I installed the second processor error messages stated that the computer was set in uniprocessor mode and the processors were mismatched. The bios support these two 500mhz processors and the bios also recognizes both intel processors but I can't get both processors enabled at the same time.Any help with this delema? :confused:

Are the processors truly a matched pair?

Are they both the same 'stepping'?

Are they both Pentiums (One Pentium and one Celeron won't work)?

First question would be, are the two CPU's identical? Not just in speed, but are they identical models?

Have you tried resetting the BIOS? Is there any menu option in the BIOS to enable dual-processors? That would be my guess. They're both Slot 1 PIII 500's, right? Or are they Xeon's? Might want to check the S-Spec numbers on Intel's website for any problems (such as L2 cache coherency).
