There "may" be a better Choice for hardware to build your new system with, I really dont know. Ive only built 2 TBird systems (Im still mostly building PIII sys's) and I used very cheap parts to build the TBIRD's I built, and Im not really 100% up to speed with the new MoBo's etc and you didnt specify a brand but...............

I tried to see if I could build it cheaper "Using those exact specs"
Allowing $100 for the case "I have no idea how much that case is", I built one "exactly like it for" $271.......and with a 266mhz fsb for $278....

So I guess thats a pretty good price "For that specific hardware".....

If you want cheap and good Video www.OCIE.com (http://www.OCIE.com) has GeForce2 400 64MB for $67 - Edit:<- well they did last night lmao but now it seems to be back up to $85....still a good place to get video

That chipset on the mobo is outdated.......try for a SIS 730 chipset to get the most out of a Socket A Athalon.

$60 for 128mb of PC133 is kind of a rip if you ask me. I currently sell it for $42

ahh yeah,

I was wondering where that came from dog but I read back and saw.......

Id say $60 should be closer to 256MB then 128

Kripto...you have your settings on your browser adjusted to refresh the page when you revisit it? Sounds like a good refreshing is all you need to start seeing the new posts. Using IE...check out Tools/Internet Options under the General tab go into the settings for the Temporary Internet Files and make the appropriate changes.

Let us know if that helps with prob http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
