PHysx Card

Wow, is all I have to say. Increadible physics in the demo Cellfactor. It greatly increases performance in Rise of Legends. I really reccomend getting one (that is, for those who have the $$$ to blow on this). I can also get it to do the physics in my animation program (booya) in realtime.

Anyone else got one? (and wants to play a round of CF)

Sounds impressive, but right now it's only for the uber-rich. I mean, my goodness! The PhysX card is more expensive than a mid-range vid card! :eek:

The PhysX card is more expensive than a mid-range vid card! Well, to run CF at full settings you need at least a gig of ram and a x1800 minimum!

of course, it can scale down do a 9700 pro, but I tried that and it looks terrible. Ah well.

I've been trying to mess around with the Cellfactor Demo to see if i can get the physics to run off of a server so that people on a lan don't have to have a physx card. Of course there might not be enough bandwidth....
