When there is a message says 'there's no connectivity or linited connectivity', that's mean you haven't your IP adress yet. Try apply your IP address at your INternet properties.

It appears you have either a spyware problem or a corrupted uninstall.. Since an infected PC with Internet access is better than one without, please stry system restore and restore to a point before this happened, like two weeks ago.

Then post back and let us know if this was successful. If it was ,we can go from there. If not we have other options.

Reboot your router.

Do you have any computers directly connected to the router by one of the wired ports?

If so log into the router and change the wireless channel.

Which AV did you unistall?

Avast isn't known to create that much of an unisntall problem.

As to logging in to the router, your manual has the address you'll need, but with most Belkins the address is 192.168.2.1...just type that into the address bar of you browser (on a machine directly connected to the router) and it should bring up controls. Once there, find the channel setting and then you'll be able to change it, but you'll most likely need the password to get into the actual change (should have been asked to create the password during the router setup).

Seems it could be an SP2 bug that needs a windows update.

The link to 884020 doesnt appear to work in my source about the problem at:
