I registered with a new nick-name for not influencing your choice, and to be free in your decision
--------

After three years in Iraq.
After thousands of dead and injured soldiers; and still counting.
After billions of dollars spent, not on rebuilding Iraq, but on the war itself; and still counting.

One would pause for a minute and ask oneself with complete honesty;
Shall we get out of Iraq?

Consider this as a poll and vote with sincerity;
Shall we get out of Iraq?

I am not understanding the need to conceal your identity to avoid influencing people's opinions... It is clear from your comments that you do not like what is happening in Iraq and see it as a mistake... You could have also posted a series of glowing accounts about how important and valuable the war had been if you wanted to show impartiality...

Also, the options are too simple for the complex situation...

My take on this for what it's worth...

Whether you agree with the war in principle..IRRELEVANT... it started..it's there!!

Whatever time is spent there..IRRELEVANT... we are there!!
Whatever money needs to be spent... IRRELEVANT...it's "our" responsibilty!

"We" went into Iraq, removed the only control of an already volatile situation..and we can't now replace it with.. "Nothing to do with me guv"!!, and just walk away!..just because it went wrong.

We should stay for the duration..like it or not (and I don't)..but to do otherwise would be to betray the very people we supposedly went in there to help.

"Quote": One would pause for a minute and ask oneself with complete honesty;

The real question is..: Shall we get out of Iraq, and leave the people to the ensuing bloodbath which would surely follow??.

I say NO!!!

Rant over.. back to my networking problems!!.. :D :D
