Does anybody else have the following problem with SpyBot S&D?

If a settings or registry change is made a pop up will happen aksing you to either allow or deny this change, thats all fine and all but does anyone else have the problem of reading the two options?The two clickable buttons are half invisable.

I know now after guessing that the one on the left is allow and the one on the right is deny.But i couldn't read them to know that at first.

Anyone else notice this?
And is there a way to fix it?

Are you running TeaTimer?
TeaTimer is a tool included in Spybot S&D that can control the renaming of CWS files, but I do not run with it enabled because of the Allow/Disallow noise like you are describing.

Yes I run TeaTimer as its the only anti-spyware resi protection i have.
Its not a big deal its just a bit strange that you can't read the message options that pop up

Try one of the different spybot skins...it may just be that particular skin doesn't agree with your display settings.

Is this something like what you see.....

If so try the following BUT AT YOUR OWN RISK. Using this program may be seen a a breach of Spybot's EULA which states that you are not to mess around with the program.

If you want to proceed here you go ...

Download resourcehacker :-

http://www.angusj.com/resourcehacker/

save it to a new folder anywhere you want..

Open reshacker by double-clicking the exe file...

exit teatimer (click the icon in the systray and then "exit")(make sure it isn't running)

in reshacker Go to > File > open > browse to the teatimer.exe ( in the S & D folder in program files, if you accepted

defaults during the install) > highlight the teatimer.exe and click open...

in reshacker go to > view > find text > enter decision and click find next

you will come up with a block of text similar to this....

object cbRemember: TCheckBox
Left = 8
Top = 160
Width = 339
Height = 17
Anchors = [akLeft, akTop, akRight]
Caption = '&Remember this decision.'
TabOrder = 2
end

Change "Top = 160" to "Top = 190"

Click > compile script and save

This will create a new teatimer.exe file...

The old teatimer file will be backed up first in the same s & D folder as teatimer_original.exe

If you want to revert to the old one, just delete the teatimer.exe and rename the original back.

See if that helps.
