I am looking to build a ATA100 Raid for my computer. I will be doing a lot of Audio/Video & heavy Graphic/3D.

I have a AMD TBird 1.2GHz 266FSB with 512megs of ram and a ATA100 7200 20gig HD.

Where do I go from here? What Raid Card and setting 0, 1, 5? What drives? Any information would be most helpful. Thanks!

Welcome Capt. Stone. Where to go from here.....With your situation....I would try to find another HD to match the one you have(possibly) then run one as Master and one as Slave. The Audio/Video could use the Master. The Graphic/3D could use the Slave. Or however you wanted to set them up for storage. As it sounds like you aren't starting out with a Raid type Mboard. IMHO the Raid system is a partition headache. Good Luck and Smile Awhile.
