It's too hot to be upstairs or outdoors so I thought I'd play around with the computers on the bench. Not a good idea. I pulled a 350W Antec PS froma working pc and installed it in a working computer which only had an Antec 235. Now the latter computer doesn't power up. ALthough it seemed unlikely that the 350 could die in the transfer, I tested the computer with a 450W Antec. It powers up. I then went back to the 235; it powers up. What could I have done, or what am I overlooking that would stop the 350W from powering up the second pc? I checked the voltage setting and it is correct; didn't get bumped in the process.

Still confused but both computers are back on line. I disconnected everything from the 350W Antec except the HD. It powered up. I added the floppy and cdroms. Once again it wouldn't power up. I added just the floppy and it powered up. I shut it down, added just one cdrom. It powered up. Repeated this and everything is working. Very odd but then I'm just learning. I did have one funny learning experience on the way. You can not have the USB keyboard and PS2 connected at the same time. The B IOS screen just goes into overtime flipping through menus. :)
