Hi. First time poster. I have a PC with XP loaded that ran fine for months. I moved the computer to another room and now when I fire it up, it comes up to the page that identifies the Processor, and says Press DEL to enter set-up. But it will not register any inputs from the keyboard and stays on that screen for about 20 seconds, disappears (get a no signal input message on the monitor) then returns to the screen described above.

I have checked to make sure all connections and boards are seated correctly and I cant find any loose or missing connections. I even tried loading the XP CD but it won't read it either. Can anyone help?

Try a different PS/2keyboard and then try a more minimalist hardware setup by detaching all drives and pci cards and see if you can then get into setup. If you can add back the other devices one by one till you hopefully find a culprit piece of hardware.

That did it! Don't know why i didnt think to do that but I had a bad card (wireless) apparently. Time to play with it and make it work. Again, Thanks Paul! :)
