What is a good product on the market right now? I work at a technical college and we recently had a computer stolen (and returned oddly enough) but the staff person's files were deleted. I don't know if it was by the Shift-Delete or the Delete Key and the recyle bin emptied. I was wondering what some of the experts recommend. Thanks.

Norton Utilities is quite good (dont know what is best), but it does work and you can get free demo downloads to try, but the more work you do on the machine in the meantime the harder it will be to recover as new data could be overwriting old.

On-Track Fix-It Utilities does too.
