Win98 Se machine When I run spybot s &d I am getting the blue screen of death with the error message of "a fatal exception 0E has occured at 0028:c027fa53 in vxdvmm(06) + 00003af3. The current application will terminated.

* Press any key to terminate apps
*Press cntr-aly-del key to restart computer"

What would cause this and what can I do to fix it please? I appreciate any help.

Haven't found anything exactly matching...but the most common thread with this particular class of error seems to be a video driver problem followed by a registry problem. Most of what I found dealt with Win95, though.

You could try updating the video drivers...but most of the cards with driver problems were very old cards and finding any thing better/newer is probably next to impossible, now.
